Sterilization and Cleaning of the Nose Cone
Steam autoclave is recommend.
1. Clean the nosecone with alcohol-dipped soft tissue or cotton. Never clean the nosecone in boiling water or in chemicals, with wire brushes, or in ultrasonic cleaners
2. Lubricate the nosecone with nosecone spray (ACC-NCSPRAY). Spray for 2 seconds. The spray will come out the front end of the nosecone. See the Max 4 Instruction Book for written instructions and pictures.
3. Place the nosecone into an autoclaving pouch and seal it in accordance with the instructions on the pouch.
4. Autoclavable up to a max 135 degrees C (275 degrees F). Autoclave for 20 minutes at 121 degrees C (250 degrees F), or 15 minutes at 132 degrees C (270 degrees F).
